The Role
Codec are a multiple award winning AI platform that helps the world’s leading brands (L’Oreal, Unilever, Chanel, Diageo) understand and connect with passion and interest-based audiences (tribes). This is a great opportunity for someone with a creative, curious and entrepreneurial edge to join the sales team as a Business Development Executive. You’ll combine your creativity, curiosity and commercial acumen to bring new qualified sales opportunities into the business.

Are a great communicator, with both internal/external stakeholders
Ideally have 1-2 years experience in planning/ strategy/ account management or a technology environment with a very consultative and strategic sales process
Business Development:
Identify strong potential prospects using initiative and creativity, to generate outbound lead opportunities;
Manage, nurture and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities;
Provide engaging and articulate information about Codec's value proposition to potential customers;
Participate in the preparation, ideation and delivery of proposals, assets and product demo’s;
Represent Codec at industry and networking events;
Maintain well organised, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in the CRM.
Work closely within a collaborative sales & marketing team;
Efficient management of the sales pipeline using Codec's sales processes;
Meet personal targets and work towards Codec’s sales goals;
Provide accurate and timely information as required to managers;
Proficient in the use of sales tools like LinkedIn - Sales Navigator and CRM tools like Hubspot;
